I am in search of a suboxone Dr in south/south central Mississippi that will accept Medicaid as well as new patients... I was recently released from my Dr.He notified my via a letter in the mail stating I had failed a drug screen the prior month(said i had NO suboxone in my system)That's total BS!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated...I have tried websites such as naabt.org,suboxone.com,etc to no avail... HELP!!!!

That is going to be a hard one to find Susan. Most doctors won't take Medicare/Medicaid for Suboxone treatment. Too much time spent for very little money paid. Can't say I blame them but it sure puts a lot of people in a bad situation.

The only thing I can say is to go back to your old doctor and keep saying it was a false reading with the test. He knows that happens. Plead for mercy and beg to be taken back. And keep checking daily for other doctors. A place may open up for you when someone else leaves.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Welcome to our forum! I hope you find some place quick to treat you. It's a lousy system to be part of. You shouldn't have to suffer going through withdrawals when you finally found recovery with Suboxone.
