Hello,
Let me give you a little history. I was in the Marines and was shot at l5 in my back had 5 surgeries and still had pain, a lot. I was on opiates for 2 years last 6 months 2 100mcg fent patchs 320mg oxy and 20-30mg of diluadid. I started running out early on my scripts abusing ect, I told my VA doc I didnt want to be on pain meds any more he you will have to be on them for life. So I ended at a methadone clinic! With a plan to be off in a year. To stabalize I had to go up to 220mg a day, I have since tapered down to 18mg in 6 months I been in mild withdrawl for 2 months gets worse every day. I eat right, and i run 5 miles a day. They are going to switch me to suboxone in 1 week and I wil be at 13mg. My ? is, How many hours of the methadone should I have to be off of to have a smooth transistion considering I am already in withdrawl and at a low dose
thanks.
