Hi everyone. Next week I will be 8 months off of suboxone. Thanks everyone who helped especially those who were kind enough to respond to my messages. I know i have probably touched on this in the past, but I want to get someones experience about mental obsession. The first 6 months of mine were not bad thinking about opiates, but the last wto I have been alot. This is how it goes. In the morning I wake up for work paranoid about relapse. The first four hours of the day I am thinking about using. It stays in my head. I dont want to but alot of thoughts or situations make me think of opiates. Not suboxone, but oxys and roxys. I never want to use them though. Then this feeling goes away for about 3-4 hours and I am fine. It comes back around 6 pm. Then goes away at 10 pm. i am sick of thinking about opiates. It gives me fears and depression. Anyone else experience this and did it go away?

One more thing,,, hasn't been brought up here for awhile, but have you thought about meditation???

Im still a beginer, but it's really helped me,,,, it's REALLY EASY to do, to start, too.

here's a really good site

http://www.seattleinsight.org/Resources ... fault.aspx

I could NOT figure out how to post the "introduction to meditation" videos from the seattle insight homepage!!!
so I posted one from youtube!!!

Hope this helps..... just trying to open a few doors for you.... YOUR choice either way,, No pressure, LOL

seriously, I thought this was stupid, at first. then I tried it, and now I use it all the time
you don't need more than two mins sometimes, and it just HELPS,,,,,
it helps my OCD-ness,,,, anxiety and a whole host of other crap too!!!!
