so I called d.s.s. as I have just Medicaid until march 1, 2016. she told me that she doesn't think that Medicaid covers suboxone anymore. does anyone know if this is true?? my insurance wouldn't go through at the pharmacy does anyone know if I just need a prior authorization??

Yes yes yes! You need a PA. suboxone is a specialty drug and your doctor has to fax over information on why you NEED this dtug. Call your doctor right away and they will take care of it. Is the doctor accepting the Medicaid too? If not, you need to find a sub doctor who does, or the insurance won't cover it. They only cover drugs prescribed by doctors who accept your insurance
