Post subject: DEA on transferring Suboxone prescriptions - Aug 12, 2017
PostPosted: Sat Aug 12, 2017 1:10 pm
If anyone here knows anything about this new law, please let me know - I want to find a reference to it.

Just found this out today from my pharmacist:
The DEA has a new law, my pharmacist says it's causing a lot of angst - he said that pharmacies can no longer TRANSFER a Suboxone prescription unless it has been filled once at original pharmacy. My doc faxed my rx into ...

Post subject: About to do 4 days jail, help!
PostPosted: Sun Jul 30, 2017 5:03 am
I'm prescribed 8mg suboxone twice daily. The time has come where I have to serve my time for a dui. I'm so scared already, then I found out I can't take my subs. Should I try to ween myself off or should I try to double dose before I go in? I read that worked for someone on this forum for a five day jail stint but they were used to taking only 4mg daily ...

Post subject: An end to the past -- Meeting with P&P board about Pardon
PostPosted: Mon Jun 12, 2017 7:20 am
So, about a year ago I started looking into what it would take to get me "legal" again in the realm of firearms, etc.
And I came across a couple of lawyers.
I explained via telephone to 2 different lawyer what I had done, nearly 10 years ago...and that I have 1 count of ID theft against me, and it's a family member. And that I had nothing before that, and nothing since.
They told ...

Post subject: Is my Doctor "Double Dipping"??
PostPosted: Tue Jun 06, 2017 12:42 pm
I have been going to this physicians office for several years now--when I first started going, they accepted "CASH ONLY" $100.00/visit...the cost of the visits have gradually went up over the course of several years, and now costs $350.00/month CASH ONLY...what I have a question about is this...I pay $350.00 CASH each visit, but then my Drs office turns around and also bills my private insurance company for a "established office visit, as well as ...

Post subject: insurance suddenly dropped coverage
PostPosted: Sat Apr 15, 2017 12:20 am
Hi all, have a huge problem right now. I've been taking Suboxone for 4 years now, my Dr tells me I should be on Suboxone as a life long treatment for my chronic pain, been through all the ups and down with regular pain management, been on everything to treat my pain, percosets, vicodin, fentanayl, morphine, just to name a few. None of them worked for long, and I always needed more, hence my Suboxone ...

Post subject: Report on the "War on Drugs." Read it and weep.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 14, 2017 7:58 am
It's a long read, and grimly depressing. But it's worth at least a skim. It's all here, all the perfectly predictable harmful consequences of forgetting that the the distinction between alcohol and drugs is merely an arbitrary legal fiction. Prohibition failed utterly, and so of course has the war on drugs.

As far as I can tell, Donald Trump is planning to continue on in the same vein. In fact he's made noises about "doubling ...

Post subject: Laws on prescribing Suboxone
PostPosted: Wed Apr 05, 2017 12:05 pm
Here's what I have to deal with on a monthly basis. And I'm sure some of you have it worse, and if you do i apologize. But my sub doctor requires monthly visits. I started 6 years ago when the monthly rate was $100 so as long as I don't quit the program and start over my doctor can't charge me more than $100. I say that because a year or so after I started ...
