Post subject: How long to wait in between doses?
PostPosted: Wed Mar 28, 2018 6:12 am
On average, I'm able to go anywhere from 2-4 weeks before finally caving. I feel like this is enough time for me. Even though some may view this as a vicious cycle, one that most addicts would try and steer clear from, I have never suffered from any serious acute withdrawals. Idk if that's because of my dosage or rather if it's just due to the fact that I'm still relatively young and in good ...

Post subject: 6 months since the jump
PostPosted: Wed Oct 04, 2017 10:59 pm
So my first 6 months off bupe has went by quickly. I was on it for about 6 years after becoming addicted to hydrocodone for a previous 5 years. For me the jump was easier than even a slow taper. I took 8 months to drop from 2mg/day to .007mg/day using the liquid method at the end when my films got hard to cut.

The first few weeks after the jump I felt almost plugged ...

 Post subject: Great Expectations
PostPosted: Mon Sep 18, 2017 12:32 pm
Recently, I read a post in another thread where someone had shared some articles outlining the obstacles of shame and self hatred to the process of recovery. While I agree that these are a major driver for relapse, I also have to say that these feelings, so far as I have felt them, can be and often are cultivated in the process of rehabilitation wherein we are convinced to convince ourselves that we have no ...

Post subject: Day 10 Off Suboxone, Feeling worse.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 25, 2017 1:38 pm
I will give a quick rundown of my past: Broke my back, was diagnosed with Fibromyalsia and Rheumetoid Arthritis. I was given a script of 2 10mg reprexains/day. (Reprexain, which I have yet to see another person ever talk about on these forums, is basically a vic 10 mg) So, year 1 I stuck to my script and did things the way you are supposed to. By year two, the meds would only make me ...

Post subject: Butrans and PAWS at almost 7 months
PostPosted: Sat Aug 05, 2017 12:29 pm
Greetings all! First of all, I want to thank you all on here. My story is a little bit different but I'm hoping someone can help me. I was put on Butrans for lower back pain, it worked great for about a year. I went from 5mcg to 10mcg to 15mcg and then 20mcg. About exactly a year after I started using this patch, one day I had a massive anxiety/panic attack at work. I ...

 Post subject: First Week Clean
PostPosted: Wed Jul 19, 2017 10:28 am
As of now, I am 7 days clean and not looking back!:)

Thought I’d post my experience and also add to this thread down the line. I had been silently reading posts on this website for months, but could not allow myself to get on when I jumped or between then and now, because really it just gave me so much anxiety reading horror stories that it consumed me.

Did H for 5 straight ...

 Post subject: No more Tramadol
PostPosted: Tue Jul 04, 2017 6:14 am
In light of Independence Day I thought I'd visit here and post that I'm no longer taking low dose tramadol. I went down to 50 mg/day (from 100) and just stopped taking it. I had one a day (day 2) that I pretty much spent on the couch with an upset stomach and sneezing all day, and that was about it. Now I'm back on the antidepressant Trintillex (vortioxetine), and I continue to take 0.5mg ...

Super happy way happier than on opiates! I quit 12mg cold turkey after years on and am here to report I feel awesome! So happy i quit and believe its all mindset and can be overcome if you dedicate to be recovered barring any pain management or major injury/chronic pain stuff. I also quit all other meds same time including atarax, remeron, and testosterone shots. Suprisingly my natural testosterone is already coming back! I dont ...

Post subject: Does anyone have experience with PAWS?
PostPosted: Mon May 29, 2017 9:43 pm
Hello everyone,

I am a little over a month off of Subutex. And I was wondering if anyone has insight on PAWS? I am doing great for the most part. I was just curious to how long this may last, and if someone has experience with PAWS I would love to hear what you went through. I know it is different for everyone, and it can last from a month or two, or even years. ...

I try to post the "truth" about the effects of suboxone and the admin keeps blocking my posts ~ i cannot be part of a forum that is one sided. It is not fair ! The next big dilemma in the future is going to be that no-one cannot get off subs !! You watch BYE Hawthorne
