Post subject: Seasonal Depression; That time of the year again...
PostPosted: Sun Oct 30, 2016 10:36 pm
The leaves are changing colors, the temperature is dropping and I just want to throw the covers over my head and stay in bed and do nothing again. It's the time of year I was hoping I wouldn't have to deal with. "Maybe the Suboxone will take care of it this year," I thought to myself. Well, unfortunately "the winter time blues" as I like to refer to it, is well on it's way to ...

Post subject: I'm on a lot of psych meds; Bupe improves my mood! Too much?
PostPosted: Sun Oct 23, 2016 11:02 pm
Am I on too many meds? Is this a sustainable regimen? Bupe really improves my mood, it acts almost like a stabilizer/mild antidepressant. I'm thinking about dropping some meds but which ones? Am I on too much bupe? Just got back on 16mg again. Apparently, I'm on a lot? Well I know it's supposed to be a lot. I got off bupe in January and got back on it beginning of October '16.

Suboxone [buprenorphine/naloxone ...

Before I start.... Am I posting these to the correct forum? If not, can someone let me know where a better place to post almost daily updates about my bup experience... Thanks!

Hey everyone.

Today is day 6 and I feel great! If you're following along I had a mishap yesterday but all was well today. I took my suggested dose of 12mg in three doses. I have found that I feel much better once ...

Post subject: Day 5 - Ups and Downs
PostPosted: Wed Aug 31, 2016 12:31 am
Hey there.

I have some good news and some bad news. Yesterday was my 4th day on Suboxone. I took my prescribed 12mgs in 3 doses throughout the day. I was off from work, and I had a great day off. Instead of waking up and starting the process of tracking down my opiates folloed by being high all day- just to come down in the evening and be unpleasant to my family; I woke ...

Post subject: Day 3 - First noticeable side effects
PostPosted: Mon Aug 29, 2016 1:52 am
Hey everyone.

Today was my third day on bup. I took my suggested dose of 1.5 strips and I feel pretty good. Very limited cravings, and still extremely surprised at the absence of withdrawal symptoms and also the energy levels and productivity I am able to maintain at work. I am very pleased.

Some side effects I am encountering are an increased appetite/empty feeling stomach, and today I was a little agitated. Some things that ...

Post subject: Day 2 of Suboxone
PostPosted: Sat Aug 27, 2016 11:24 pm
Hey guys. I posted my intro yesterday and wanted to stop by on my second day of using Suboxone. First off, I couldn't believe how well I felt when I woke up this morning. Usually when I wake up and know I have no pills, I get this petrified helpless feeling and dread the thought of getting out of bed. Today I felt okay, and was pleased to not be experiencing chronic withdrawal symptoms and ...

Post subject: Clomid for treating low testosterone caused by Suboxone?
PostPosted: Thu Aug 04, 2016 7:20 pm
Hi all,

I am a male, late 20's with low testosterone that is caused by my long-term Suboxone use. My urologist believes that Clomid will help with my low t and won't cause any fertility issues. I am wondering if Clomid's mechanism of action will help opioid-related low t? My doctor isn't positive if it will, but he says it's worth a shot. Has anyone had any success with Clomid and Suboxone-related low t?

 Post subject: Prozac and Suboxone
PostPosted: Sat May 14, 2016 11:00 pm
Hello. I am new to this site however I am not new to suboxone. Unfortunately I've been on it for almost 6 years. I have tapered myself down over the past 3 years from 24 MG per day (I know now that this was way to high a dose) to between 1-2 MG per day. Rrally trying to get off. Its time.

Over the last year I have been experiencing severe depression despite having many ...

 Post subject: Anxiety
PostPosted: Thu May 12, 2016 8:59 am
I have been on suboxone for the past 2 years and it has been working very well for me. But for the past week, I have been experiencing significant anxiety. There are definitely things in my life that could contribute -- finishing up my thesis, my job, etc, but still... I did take some Tagamet one morning and the anxiety was worse for the next couple days. I was wondering if that would decrease first ...

Post subject: Staying recovery focused when you're experiencing depression
PostPosted: Wed Apr 20, 2016 10:46 pm
Hey guys need your help here.

I often experience quite serious depression around the month of April (the fall into our Winter). My first real acute psychiatric episode 15 years ago was in April, and it appears to have turned into a bit of a pattern since then. It seems if I can get through April without serious depression returning, it's most likely going to be a good year. I don't think it's a coincidence ...
