 Post subject: Addictive behavior
PostPosted: Tue Apr 10, 2018 1:17 pm
Hey Guys & Gals,

I've been wanting to discuss this for a while now but never really worked up the courage to do so. I've been on bupe now for a year now (April 13th was my induction day) & I still feel that addict mentality of wanting to take my mood to the "next level". Yes, I have taken extra films in the past 8 months or so in hopes of achieving that opiate ...

Post subject: Pro's and cons'of being on Sub
PostPosted: Wed Mar 14, 2018 12:46 pm
I would like to hear about other people's experience of being on Suboxone, and if it effected their anxiety. There have been some side effects as there are with any drug, but the benefits at this point far out weigh the bad. Aside from it saving my life, I've noticed a lot of other benefits. The first being, that my depression is nearly GONE! It may surface for a day or two, but it doesn't ...

Post subject: Really struggling with Bipolar Depression and Anxiety -
PostPosted: Wed Mar 07, 2018 6:29 pm
I was off my Bipolar medication (Lamictal) for a number of years, but I've been back on it now for just about 3 months. I've worked up to 200 mg's and am taking Buspar and Hydroxyzine for anxiety but I'm not getting any relief. My doctor is "insisting" that I lower my dosage of Buprenorphine from 24 mg's to 16 mg's within the span of about a month, and while I understand that I really ...

Post subject: LDN & Suboxone together
PostPosted: Sun Feb 25, 2018 4:18 pm
Not sure if this is the right forum topic, please move it (moderators) if you feel another place would be better.

I consider my suboxone doctor, "Dr.R", pretty advanced and well-educated in his understanding of addiction and the brain. Like Dr. Junig he believes in patient education and is super compassionate. To keep this clear & short I need to write in sections. As the title suggests this is about the use of Suboxone and ...

Post subject: Does anyone here prefer Zubsolv best for its mood effects?
PostPosted: Mon Feb 05, 2018 2:49 am
Quick bio: been on Antidepressants since I was 21. I’m 45 now.
They’re just a part of my life, for better or worse. No big whoop. Problem is, my brain is becoming treatment resistant.

Now the painkiller addiction..... that has been in and out of my life so many times, I finally reached the point where Buprenorphine became the answer to staying clean.

Here’s my situation: An addiction doc started me on Zubsolv about 6 ...

Post subject: Suboxone And Bipolar Disorder
PostPosted: Mon Nov 13, 2017 10:04 pm
I did a quick skim to make sure I’m not just submitting a reboot here, though considering the proposed subject matter, it seems impossible that I’m not covering familiar territory for some of us here. Anyway, here goes:

I’m a broken clock. But, like any broken clock, I assume I’m right twice a day. I don’t mean this literally, of course, and I’d argue that the number of times per day I’m correct has gone ...

Post subject: Suboxone doesn't work anymore and I dont feel good
PostPosted: Sun Oct 29, 2017 10:49 pm
I've been on Suboxone on and off since I was 18 years old, I am now 26 with a daughter and a wife. This time around I've been on Subs pretty much uninterrupted for the last 3 years.

I increasingly feel absolutely shitty. I'm prescribed 20mg/day some days I take 16mg, other days i take 24mg because it's a pain in the ass to divide pills in half. I've done it like this since starting ...

Post subject: Deciding which illness to treat
PostPosted: Fri Sep 15, 2017 6:34 pm
I am on suboxone due to a year and a half heroin addiction. I have other issues that I feel like need to be addressed but my new doctor says no. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety. My last doctor had me on suboxone, effexor and 1 mg of klonopin. I don't have a ride to go to that doctor so I had to switch. My exhusband sexually assaulted my daughter which caused me ...

Post subject: Whats your effective "antidepressant" dose?
PostPosted: Mon Aug 21, 2017 3:14 pm
So, I was good at 2mg total daily (1mg 2xday) but was dealing with some anxiety, a drop in mood in the middle of the day and temptations to dabble in alcohol and other drugs so I added 1mg more (1mg 3xday) for a total of 3mg a day and in less then a week, like a light switch, the antidepressant effect turned off for me.

So now I am dropping back to 0.5mg 3 ...

I've been using heroin for four years. IV since last June. I am a pretty big person too 6 foot 1 195 pounds. Sometimes...not all the times..i can get a buzz from suboxone. Usually when I'm meditating I notice it really heavy. Or like an hour or two after I take it it's like a warm feeling. Last year before I started IVing a fourth of a Suboxone would get me.ROCKED for like a whole ...
