 Post subject: Odd UA results
PostPosted: Tue Jun 27, 2017 3:50 pm
Hi everyone this is my first time posting here but I'm perplexed about a situation and not sure who to ask. It seems in my last UA my Naloxone amount was higher than the bup. Amount. I don't understand how this could happen but now my doc wants me to start doing randoms and sub counts. I'm compliant with my meds. Though some days I take 3 other days 1 per my doc depending on ...

 Post subject: Suboxone for pain?
PostPosted: Wed May 24, 2017 6:28 pm
Hello. My husband is on methadone for pain, he has been taking a high dose. After being with the same pain doctor for over 10 years his pain doctor wants him to to go on suboxone. He assures him this will help his pain. He has severe pain, both knees need replacement, his back needs a fusion but he is not a good candidate for surgery. I am trying to find out if suboxone can ...

Post subject: Slip and getting back to Sub
PostPosted: Wed May 10, 2017 12:06 pm
Hi, I wasn't sure where to put this since there is no "what were you thinking" section. I'm really unhappy with myself right now, but I want to get back to recovery right away.

I have an important question and then I'll give a little backstory. My last Sub was 4mg about 36 hours ago. During that 36 hours I have taken 16 Percocet. How long do I need to wait after my last Percocet ...

Post subject: Emergency Pain meds in the over 50s
PostPosted: Tue Apr 18, 2017 4:32 am
There has been a bit of chat on other threads about tapering off sub as a precaution to the inevitable health issues that come with older age.
Being in that group i would like to know at what dosage if any of sub would other pain meds break through and be effective eg if you were on 2mg of sub a day and an emergency came up you present at hospital and nobody there has ...

 Post subject: Proper Induction
PostPosted: Wed Apr 12, 2017 1:01 am
I study the posts Doc but keep messing up. I stopped using H on Friday. Did not use Saturday and started induction 2mg at a time. I went to 8 when I felt halfway good but not 100% I broke down on Monday and did 2 bags of weak dope. Felt nothing I read your old post telling me there was probably bup on my receptors and if I used under these same conditions I ...

Post subject: Withdrawal in less than 24 hours?
PostPosted: Fri Mar 17, 2017 6:41 am
I've been on a slow taper - over 2 years, I've gone from 6mg/daily down to 1mg/daily. My last step down, from 1.5mg to 1 mg, is the first time I've noticed what felt to me like withdrawal symptoms.

I've always taken my Sub first thing in the morning, once a day as recommended by my doc. A few weeks ago, when I dropped 0.5 to 1mg, I began having sleep issues. I was able ...
