Why is the anti-Suboxone crowd so angry? Tell me your 'theory', or your guess. Whether it is toward my youtube videos, this forum, my practice... the anti-sub folks call me a 'greedy pusher' without knowing anything about me! I'm sure many of you have done battle as well. Just what is their problem, anyway?!

Post subject: Benzodiazepines almost beat me
PostPosted: Sat Apr 30, 2016 6:45 pm
Hi, my name is Mike and I was interested in getting feedback from folks who had to do battle with benzo dependency concurrently with opiates or even by themselves. I was reading a post written by a fairly new member a few days back, where she was insisting that life with bupe could only move forward if Clonazepam was part of the equation. Her reliance on Zanax(a truly evil benzo to get off of) for ...

I am a menber of a pharmacy group on Facebook and I read a post to the effect of:
My pharmacist forgot to dispense the nasal actuator with a naloxone kit. He called to let the patient know and found out someone had died. How do you all feel about this
Someone posted this word for word:
"I think mistakes happen and the pharmacist tried to fix it. It's not his fault someone overdosed. That's ...

Post subject: My comment is "awaiting moderation"!!
PostPosted: Sun Apr 10, 2016 12:32 pm
I wrote a long comment on an article about families losing their loved ones to heroin. My comment is awaiting moderation. Meanwhile, the moderators of this article have published other comments that came after mine. I think I may be getting blocked because I advocated buprenorphine use. I am very upset about not having my voice heard. I went out of my way to be completely honest! If anyone wants to check out the article ...

Hey everyone i am new here and just wanted to know why i feel the way i do?  Post subject: Since you asked....
PostPosted: Fri Jul 25, 2014 8:44 pm
I came here many years ago praying that this was the answer and that it might save my son. I believed that it really was the miraculous tool that would fix it. It was all a lie.

Now having been in the trenches for umm...an eternity I have come to believe that Suboxone is evil. It gives addicts currency to trade for all sorts of things like opiates! It enables an addict to take an ...

 Post subject: Suboxone and alcohol
PostPosted: Sat Aug 17, 2013 2:18 pm
I know this is probably frowned upon but I am looking for anyone with similar experiences. I was an alcoholic before addict and both at the same time for years. I have been on Suboxone for almost 2 years. This was not intentional but I have found that can drink moderately now from time to time and not have that that "switch' flipped that used to send me on a 2 week binge that would ...
