Post subject: Doesn't anyone know about Suboxone?
PostPosted: Thu Nov 02, 2017 10:24 pm
Hi, Queenie here,

With all the talk about the opioid epidemic and it being a Pulic Health Emergency" (it should be a National Emergency) I have seen discussions, documentaries, ads telling people to call for help, etc.. now more than ever.

I have noticed that Suboxone is not mentioned in the recovery processes. At least, I haven't heard it mentioned in what I have seen & read. They talk about Recovery Clinics, counseling, tapering down, ...

Post subject: Gabapentin taper. Anyone else done this?
PostPosted: Sun Aug 20, 2017 3:56 pm
I decided a few days ago that instead of tapering my Suboxone (decided to keep that for now for multiple reasons) that I would try to taper my Gabapentin. Mostly on accident I had only half of my dose 3 days ago. I decided, hey, why not, and kept that dose for the last 3 days (1 800 mg pill instead of 2) Today is the first day I've felt any sort of negativity and ...

Well guys, tomorrow is the eclipse for those of us in the US and I'm sooooo excited! Is everyone going to be watching that can? I know myself & Razor had talked about it and we'll definitely be observing :)

I live in East Tennessee and I'm 33 miles from totality. Middle Tennessee will be in complete totality but if I step on my back deck I'll ...

Post subject: What's it like to just be...normal? Anyone remember?
PostPosted: Tue Aug 15, 2017 11:23 am
I've been on some sort of external chemical for the past at least 7-8 years. Whether it was Gabapentin, Klonopin, Zoloft, Adderall, Suboxone, heroin, pills, WHATEVER. I've been on Gaba and Subs for the last 3 and I'm not complaining, really I'm not. Subs saved my life and I wouldn't be here without them. But..

I don't remember what it feels like to....

wake up in the morning not angry that I have to get ...

PostPosted: Tue Aug 01, 2017 6:45 pm
I've tried 3 times to respond to a private message sent to me. It never leaves my Outbox and it never lands in my "Sent Items".

I've also tried to start a new message to the same person & the same thing is happening.

I really want to respond to this very kind message from a valued Forum Friend.

Can anyone help me with this little issue?

PS. I finally just deleted all 3 ...

Post subject: Anyone Else Smoke Cigs More on Bupe?
PostPosted: Fri Jul 21, 2017 3:16 pm
I started smoking when I was 17. I quit once for a year and a half, but it got the best of me and I started again.

Then, when my surgery was botched & I got hooked on the pain killers I definitely smoked more. No doubt about that.

Now that I'm off the pills and on Bupe, my desire to smoke has increased significantly. I own my own business so I can smoke all ...

PostPosted: Tue Jul 18, 2017 11:48 am
As I'm sitting out here in the porch swing drinking my morning smoothie I have really been reflecting on my life and I realize that I have so much to be thankful for. I feel like a completely different person, yall. I don't know how to word it but I will try my best. I'm happy. There is no dark cloud hanging over me anymore and the difference is like night and day. I wont ...

PostPosted: Sun Jul 16, 2017 7:06 pm
Okay so I did my intake this past Wednesday and she told me some doctors wants your system to be clean when you come in to see him before he prescribe if your medicine so I was seeing if anyone here had any issues with that because what's the point you're going into the program then if you can just detox on your own you know, it's very hard to not take anything so my ...

Post subject: Any advice or suggestions?
PostPosted: Sat Jul 15, 2017 12:26 pm
Hi all, I had my breast implant done 7 years ago. I think it is time to replace them as it started to leak and there is a markable change in the size of my breasts. Actually, I had slight issues post my breast implant. But as it was not such a major issue, I ignored it. I have heard that people get it replaced only after 10 or 12 years. I did the saline ...

 Post subject: could be cancer
PostPosted: Thu Jun 29, 2017 7:20 am
The funny thing is I'm not even all that upset, or at least as upset as I imagined I'd be. Don't get me wrong. I've got my share of worry and fear. I fear pain. I fear incapacitation. I fear death. I have no shortage of fears.

Mostly I'm worried for my dear wife, who's such a sweet, generous spirit. It kills me to see the pain and loving concern in her face.

But I'm ...
