Hi all, have just come through a horrible flu down here in Australia and decided to start the jump on the back of the flu symptoms.
Was down to 12mg 14 days ago and when the flu pain hit i just couldnt stand the taste and everything else about it. My bowels after a lifetime of free and easy had started to lock up and my doc had put me on senna for 2 weeks ...

 Post subject: 15 Days Out
PostPosted: Fri Aug 18, 2017 8:15 am
Hi Folks,

Start of day 15 post jump. Not going to lie. This has not been easy but no one said it would be. The dominant issues have been the fatigue and lack of sleep. Unfortunately I have been on benzos for years for sleep. My primary doc never had a discussion with me about the dependency issues, kept on prescribing and I kept on taking. Yes, at 70 and with years of taking I ...

 Post subject: Zubsolv mini-doses
PostPosted: Tue Aug 15, 2017 2:24 pm
Have people discussed the tapering doses for Zubsolv? I just noticed-- 6 doses all the way down to 0.7 mg buprenorphine (which can easily be broken in half, to 0.35 mg). I have a patient tapering with it right now, currently down to the 0.7 mg dose.

Post subject: Plz research sub before starting
PostPosted: Mon Aug 07, 2017 3:16 am
A lot of people say tapering off suboxone is easy. Most of them have not actually tried to go from 2mg to nothing.

It is a nightmare. I am on day 38 and still feel horrible. I was addicted to 25 Norco hydrocodone with least amount of Tylenol a day. I even learned how to extract the tylenol.

Heaven forbid I screw up my liver. Who cares about the damage to my brain? Right? Opiates ...

Post subject: Finally Off ....8 years total
PostPosted: Thu Aug 03, 2017 3:39 pm
Hello folks. I wanted to try out a forum to see who else has been on subs as long as I and gotten off them with not so bad withdrawals? I am on day 12 w/o this morning and I've been taking 3/8mg films a day for 8 years. I lost my job on June 23rd and weaned myself down to 1/day and made the leap off. It's crazy to think I went to rehab ...

Post subject: Frustrations with sudden withdrawal
PostPosted: Sun Jul 30, 2017 2:45 am
I know that I might be touching on something that could have been addressed in another post, but every situation is a little different and I figured mine might be a little unique (enough to write out a post!)

I was an IV heroin addict for about 2.5 years and attempted recovery w/o suboxone for about 6 months after that. When I found Suboxone my life was changed forever. I currently take 8 mg a ...

 Post subject: Made the jump
PostPosted: Wed Jul 26, 2017 12:50 pm
Hi everyone. So I just jumped off of suboxone at .25 mg. I have been on subs for about three years and was able to taper slowly. I just took my last dose a few hours ago and I am nervous just thinking about what may be in store for me during these upcoming days /weeks. I am taking calm support and dlpa and a few other vitamins. I do not have high expectations that ...

Post subject: Depression while tapering from 4mg to 3mg
PostPosted: Tue Jul 25, 2017 5:17 pm
Hey everybody, so I have been on suboxone since July 2016 and it's now July 2017. I started at 8mg for a few months, then 6mg for a few months, then 4mg for a few months, and now I have been taking only 3mg for about a week.
The physical symptoms aren't terrible, but I'm noticing waaay more depression than my previous tapers... has anyone else noticed this?
And, is this just going to be ...

Post subject: How to deal with reasons why you used post Sub/opioids?
PostPosted: Wed Jul 19, 2017 11:11 pm
Hey guys, it's now been 1 year and 7 days since I jumped. I still have many good days in a row, but am still noticing those off days, as well as certain times during the day (especially mornings) where I feel really's the reason opioids seemed to click with me. I felt so much better on opioids, where I wasn't afriad or stressed by people/places. Its weird, because I can have some really ...

Post subject: Way down on my dosage, scared
PostPosted: Tue Jul 11, 2017 8:29 pm
So I started suboxone after a 2 month relapse on heroin. I was clean for 4 years, but when I relapsed I started with a 20 a day aND all of a sudden went up to a t a day. It got really out of control. Anyway I have two jobs and a kid so I didn't have a week or 2 or 3 to be sick, and was terrified of it, so I switched ...
