Hello everyone My name is Judy I am 66 yrs old and I have been on Suboxone Program going on five years. I am probably older than anyone here that is on a maintenance program.  Post subject: POST SUBOXONE WITHDRAWAL HEADACHES
PostPosted: Thu Jun 08, 2017 5:02 pm
Greetings from Oklahoma ~ New to this forum. I'm a middle-aged woman who had 3 scoliosis surgeries in the 70's. Did just fine until I got into my late 40's then started having LOTS of pain so went to pain management who put me on Norco and spinal injections. Got addicted to the Norco for several years then decided I wanted off the merry-go-round. Went to 12 week out-patient program during which time I got ...

My name is Kristin aka dolphin3683. First let me say I battle bipolar 1 bpd GAD and a couple other disorders but what started my opiate addiction was 2 car wrecks within 6 months of each other and Drs that love to write scripts. My first attempt to give up pain pills was in 2011. I ended up in the hospital having a T.I.A I dabbled with suboxone but didn't really KNOW what it was ...

Post subject: My Introduction & Very Glad To Be Here
PostPosted: Thu Jun 01, 2017 4:54 pm
I have been clean from my doc since Good Friday, April 14th. In August 2009 they discovered an enlarged ovary, possibly cancer. It didn't really hurt, but they prescribed me Vicodin anyway (7.5 @ 2 per day). Why did I even start? Went for a full hysterectomy which was botched (no cancer). Started taking Norco 10's then back to Vicodin. The next year I went for another surgery to repair the first. Didn't work. ...

PostPosted: Tue May 30, 2017 5:47 pm
Hi everyone, my name is Vanessa. I'm a 28 years old and, I began using opiates as just a recreational thing between the ages of 16-19. From 19 -23 I began using opiates daily. I wanted to stop however, as we all know that's almost impossible on your own. At 23 I accidentally discovered suboxone. I was blown away by how well it stopped my cravings and for how long. I did a bunch of ...

PostPosted: Tue May 23, 2017 11:51 pm
Hello everyone, I'm a 42 year-old male that is actively participating in Intensive Outpatient Treatment after detox from pain medication and a relatively short addiction to heroin. I admit that just reading my own words is difficult right now. I never thought I would be joining a forum in search of support and understanding about such a deeply personal struggle. But I'm here and I feel encouraged by some of the posts I've been reading ...

Post subject: New at this and looking for advise I think....
PostPosted: Sat May 20, 2017 6:29 am
I just started taking 1 1/2 strips of Suboxone under a doctors care after being on 2 x 100 Mcg Fentenyl patches @48 hrs and 30 MG oxycodone at 4-6 daily for over 15 years due to herniated / bulging discs and other back injury.

Before I started this process, I took myself off the fentenyl completely and used 4 × 30mg oxycodone every 5 hrs to help with not having fentenyl in my system. ...
