PostPosted: Thu Jun 15, 2017 9:14 pm
Hello...
I had a bad back years ago and the Dr. gave me Vicodin. I realized it did not help much with the pain but I felt happy! I had energy and so it began.
I could not seem to stop the Vicodin and heard Suboxone was also helpful for depression so I tried it. I was all buzzed out the first few weeks and then it just stopped having any effect other then when ...

Post subject: Does or has Suboxone Hyperalgesia been reported
PostPosted: Wed Jun 07, 2017 12:13 am
In case the reader doesn't know, opiate Hyperalgesia,is when opiates in a way turn against the person using them.
This could be defined as the body at a molecular level reacting to opiates differently than the past. The symptoms vary but to make it simple, opiates don't work or side effects outweigh the benefits.

Since Suboxone has been around for awhile if Hyperalgesia can happen it may be starting to show up with longer term patients.
This may ...

Post subject: buprenorphine in a clinical trial
PostPosted: Tue May 30, 2017 4:39 am
Hi. Bit of a random one, but basically I am considering signing up for a clinical trial that involves being dosed with buprenorphine and narolex. The trial involves receiving 100mg of narolex the day before dosing, which is an IV dose of buprenorphine, and then 50 mg of narolex for the best 3 days. I don't actually know the exact dose of buprenorphine atm (I will find out soon) so I guess this could make ...

Post subject: bupe and sexual function in men
PostPosted: Mon May 22, 2017 12:21 pm
Hey gang,

I thought this might warrant a new thread. This concerns the often contentious discussion of bupe and testosterone levels. This is the same post (below )I added to the now longish thread concerning a young man's difficulties in this area. While we're all different human beings with different physiologies, and I don't question individual experience, I hope this study...perhaps the same one Dr. Junig recently cited, offers encouragement.

Post subject: Airplane ears seemingly related to opioids!
PostPosted: Tue May 02, 2017 11:02 am
Hi all!
Long time lurker from Sweden checking in - first post. :)

Anyways. I've been on buprenorphine maintenance for 3 months. It's really working great. I really thought i'd never be able to quit using heroin and i was very ambivalent towards bupe.
But yeah 3 months later and i still have not used any drug. Really worked wonders for the cravings.

I had 3 annoying ...

Post subject: PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU POST ABOUT YOUR SIDE EFFECTS
PostPosted: Wed Apr 12, 2017 11:54 pm
I want to share Dr. Junig's wisdom regarding psychological versus physiological symptoms people have from buprenorphine/nalaxone.

This is a response he wrote to a member of our forum who is an attorney and was asking about some specific things. Dr. Junig starts out by comparing medicine to the law as he answered the lawyer. That is the context of what Dr. Junig wrote here.

Please read!!!
