 Post subject: Tramadol, Ugh
PostPosted: Sun Dec 18, 2016 10:52 am
Some of you might recall that I went on 100 mg Tramadol/day as sort of a maintenance/antidepressant treatment almost 20 months ago after stopping a trial of 1mg Suboxone/day for depression.

(For those who don't know me, I was on Suboxone maintenance- up to 16 mg/day- for 3 years after an 8 year opioid addiction. I went off in 2013).

I should also throw in that during my active addiction Tramadol was a drug I ...

 Post subject: When I focus
PostPosted: Thu Oct 13, 2016 9:13 pm
This morning when I got my son off to school, after listening to a fellow recovering addict give pointers about changes that need to be made in ones life to fully recover I decided to try some focused meditation. Nothing too drastic, I was just focusing on my breathing and how I was feeling and once I got aware of how I felt, it was very disturbing. I felt uncomfortable, and almost miserable the more ...

PostPosted: Tue Oct 06, 2015 6:01 pm
I used pain killers for serveral years, and I used subutek and suboxone to come off of them. Now it's been about 3 years of using about 2 mg of subutek a day. I've since tapered to probably 0.5 mg a day and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I split the half a mg into two parts and do a morning dose and an evening dose. There will be ...

Post subject: Best way to get the most out of your sublingual strip?
PostPosted: Mon Aug 03, 2015 12:52 pm
Hello all, I had a question , my sub doctor told me that when you take a whole strip you pretty much waste half of it , I take the 8/2 twice a day. Anyways he said that by cutting the strip in half, letting it fully dissolve and wait fifteen minutes before applying the other half. It seems to make perfect sense and I have noticed a difference by doing so. Has anyone else ...

PostPosted: Wed Oct 29, 2014 11:10 pm
Okay. So just to start this off with a bit of history...

Also, I was dependent on Klonopin and was taking 4-7mg a day for about 4 years. Well, my doctor stopped my prescription and said I had to go to a psychiatrist for it. I ...
