Post subject: Has anyone had PW from hydrocodone to subs?
PostPosted: Wed May 10, 2017 5:58 am
I REALLY Really need to start on subs. I made a post in the past about being nervous of getting PW.
I never started out of fear and shear lack of willpower. I've googled people's experiences a lot! It seems that most people who have gone into PW had been on heroine, methadone or other strong substances.. Either that or just plain started way too early. I haven't really come across too many stories of ...

Post subject: Start Monday- Scared of WD
PostPosted: Fri May 05, 2017 2:57 pm
I posted on the introduction section but also wanted to post here. I start the Suboxone program Monday after deciding to be done with my 150-180mg oxycodone (30's) per day habit.

They've told me I have to be off of the pills for 2 days. This scares me so much. As stated in my other post, I start feeling withdrawals after 5 hours of nothing. I can't imagine how I'll get clothes on and to ...

Post subject: Switching from Methadone to Subs.
PostPosted: Wed Apr 19, 2017 4:40 pm
Hi all. I'm 36 and have been on 40 mgs of methadone for the last 15 years, prescribed to me to treat chronic back pain. 4 10 mg pills a day. Last month, for the first time ever, my Dr randomly drug tested me and I got popped with dope in my urine. It was not a good day. I had been sniffing dope a couple time a week for roughly 8 months for a ...

Hello everyone. So I have some questions. I'll tell you my story first. About 6 years ago I suffered from wounds received in Iraq when a bomb went off on the vehicle I was in. I was rushed back to the states where I saw many doctors for different things. But my favorite doctor was my pain doctor. He prescribed me 90 oxy 20s a month for breakthrough pain and 120 perc 10s. This went ...

 Post subject: Stabalizaton Issues?
PostPosted: Fri Apr 14, 2017 12:03 pm
Greetings from NC,

I joined this forum because I found Dr. Junig's contributions extremely enlightening, as well as feeling refreshed to see the advice coming from a source that knows firsthand how incredibly harrowing the addiction cycle and withdrawal itself can be. (Next paragraph skips personal history). I have recently been inducted with suboxone and am having an unusual experience from the majority of examples my various forum-lurking has found. I am your usual "suspect", ...

 Post subject: Methadone --> Suboxone
PostPosted: Mon Apr 03, 2017 11:57 pm
Hi there. I recently switched from methadone to Suboxone. Short story: oxycodone for ~3 years, heroin for 2, a year on Suboxone (during which I frequently relapsed to brief heroin/oxy use), then 2 years on methadone at a high dose of 86 mg. Tapered to 28 mg over 5 months with relative ease. My last dose at clinic was 28 mg Tuesday morning 03/14. My Suboxone induction was Sat 03/18 at 4 pm for 102 ...

Hello all
I have lurked on this site for several years. I'm a male in his 40s with 3 children
Brief history, a car accident led me to being prescribed pain pills (hydrocodone then oxy codon)
I eventually began to abuse and buy more through "friends"
I own a successful business, so money has not been an issue.
2 years ago, having had enough, someone gave me some sub strips, and I was able to ...
