Hey All! I've posted here and there in the forum the last couple of weeks after I started Suboxone. I was in pain management after an accident for appx. 3 years. My doctor started me at 24 mgs per day (8mg. x 3) and it became apparent my dose was too high. I reduced myself to 12mg per day (4mg x 3) after the first week. It has quickly become apparent my doctor is a strong proponent of long term maintenance. I have no doubt that is a good choice for many patients but I don;t believe its the best choice for me. I know of another doctor in this area, but alas - he too is strongly supportive of long term. Id there anyone that can personally recommend a doctor in my area that supports and/or would actively assist in a slow taper...say over 60 days?
