Hi Avasmom,

I'm sorry that no one has had an answer for you so far. It could be that people from your area haven't read your post yet, or that no one here has the information you seek.

Have you tried this sub doctor matching website?

http://buprenorphine.samhsa.gov/bwns_locator/

I hope this can get you started!

Amy

Hi Amy,
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. I actually called around for a few days and found a Dr Powell that works at Austin Regional Clinic. He prescribes sub and accepts my insurance! I have an appt on Friday. This really will save a ton of money. I just don't think it's fair for those of us trying to recover and be better to have to shell out thousands of dollars because that's our only choice.

My doctor doesnt take insurence but he's a good doctor who really cares about me as a person and me being clean: Dr. Falls 512-329-6982. He charges a lot like most Subox docs but i think it's worth it....
