For some reason my levels are not doing right. Every time I go to the doctor, he has a form from a drug testing company that tells what my levels are the month before. I am always going up and down. What is wrong with my levels? I take the 8mg/2mg sublingual film. I have false teeth and a very slow metabolism. I use the bathroom every two weeks. And that is good for me. I have started eating a lot more salads and taking a water pill and a colon cleanse product. Can you explain what is going on with my levels? Both of the levels?? :( :?

Hi,

I don't have direct experience with this but from what I've gathered, testing for bupe levels in urine is very unreliable. This same question keeps popping up, from patients who swear they are taking their dose as prescribed. I believe there is some good information on this somewhere around here. I'm on my phone at the moment, but will search for you in a bit.

This link has some info from Dr. J. on the testing you're asking about.

This next link describes it a bit better, you just have to scroll about half way through the article to get to the description.
