Has anyone experienced respiratory arrest on Suboxone? I recently switched form Bupromorphine to Sub because I couldn't afford the generic anymore. I feel more depressed on Suboxone. My Doc upped the med to 8 mg 4 x / day. I combine this with Aleve 3 x day for arthritis. This morning my boyfriend couldn't wake me; he said my breathing was labored and struggling, skipping. WHen he woke me I didn't know who he was or where I was. Feeling over-medicated now.

I'm only on 2 mgs a day but wake up every morning trying to get a breath in. Docs dont seem very concerned, I'm gonna have to figure this one out by myself. What does YOUR Doctor say? Good Luck.....
PS) MY Doc said no more Ambien cause their have been deaths reported when mixing the two....any Ambien in the mix?

Umm I think that 32mg might be the problem. I know goin to 1mg a day won't work but u should try tapering to get there. I was heavy with OC (300mg plus a day) and I use .5mg twice a day of sub and actually most days I feel better than if I sniffed an 80...so just a suggestion
