Hello everyone,

I am 26 and live in Nashville, TN. I was instantly addicted the first time I had opiates put into my system after a surgery at the age of 18. Once I was 21 and able to buy alcohol I also became an alcoholic. I used and drank everyday until I was 23 and then used suboxone for the first time. I was clean for a year and then fell off the wagon. I have been clean and sober for two weeks this time. I am currently using 12mg a day and doing ok.

welcome whosnxt,

This is a great forum where you can get lots of support.

Im glad to hear you are back on sub and doing ok. What dose are you on? Is it controlling your cravings ok?

I abused opiates for 4 years and have been on sub for a little over a year now. (4mg daily) I feel like this is a life saving med.

Again welcome, looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

Johnboy, The weather is perfect right now, high of 72 and sunny. Yes I am prescribed. I go to my doc twice a month and get 30 films for two weeks. If you can not get a large enough script to make the trip I can give you the phone number to my doc and maybe he will do a one time visit while you are here. He is a great doc but only takes cash for confidential reasons. He has told me that a few of his patients are very large country music stars and some other multi millionaires. With only cash pay there are no credit card or debit card trails through which those who wish to remain anonymous could be outed.

I also read someone asking my dose. I am on 12-16mg a day. I have found it works best for me to cut the films in half and take 3 to 4 halfs throughout the day.
