I've never heard that either of those medications damage sperm, so I don't see how they would effect the baby. Maybe you should ask your midwife or obgyn, whichever you have.

Ok, so I quickly googled and just from scanning the results page it seems like everything should be fine.

Most of the concern regarding medication use during pregnancy involves the mother, because they don't know how certain meds might effect the growth & development of the fetus. If a medication is known to damage dna or sperm or egg cells, they would have to tell you not to conceive while you're on that medication.

Another place you can look would be a website like Rx List, check all the side effects of your meds. But I don't think you have anything to worry about regarding your medciations and the health of the baby.

Congrats!

Congratulations on the baby!!! :)

Don't worry. All you did, basically, was contribute your DNA. Very, very few medications will screw with you on that genetic level and Suboxone isn't one of them. Your Suboxone use should have no effect on your child. Ditto for the Vyvanse.

I too got my wife pregnant while on suboxone. The only thing that happen to my baby was it was born with out a penis :D I guess I cant really blame that on the suboxone tho since my first baby was also a girl.

Just joking with you. I had one baby on subs and the other with out and they both where beautiful lil girls. Congrats on the baby!!
