Hey DB, good to hear from you!!

34 days today? Sweet!!

So, you're having a little trouble filling up that free time, eh? I hope you find something constructive to do or else that "free time" may end up biting you in the ass. Have you tried some exercise yet? Vigorous exercise....try it, it blew me away when I started exercising. It eats up some of that free time, you get in better shape and once you get into a bit, you'll probably notice you're making healthier choices in your life.

yea I hear yea, and I will do that. off to my pcp soon, getting tested for everything. I don't think something is right. I should be much better than this but I comes with the territory. I don't fear my free time im not going back so that's just it. I have well made my mind up on that one.

Off to my LSD soon (licensed 'script doc). Hardy har har.

You'll get back to living again. Hope they are able to diagnose whatever is happening, and its something easy to fix.

Hang tough, its a jungle out there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juHIpJcEFZM

Cool, I was just listening to the Humble Pie cover recently :)

My fellow using junkies used to joke about my big 'ropes' (veins), saying "Ray Charles could get a hit on those". Ugh, some were so far down the road, they were shooting up in their groin. What was in store for me I suppose, if I had kept going.

But yeah, def better to be safe than sorry. And worry.

Well peach is better than red lobster. Get the aloe vera out if it hurts, great for burns, including sunburn.

I assume things went well at the docs., or at least reasonably well if you're waiting on lab results from a blood draw, still.

I listen to almost all of your youtube links. Great batting average insofar as prime choices, as far as my earbuds are concerned.

Can't see the vid, it's locked

A 120 miles bike ride is amazing, I don't think I've covered 120 miles in total on a bike in my whole life.

Man I hate the censorship. Must be because you are in Canada and not the US. Used to enrage me, getting the "not available in your country" message (until I got burnt out on getting enraged every time, it so frequently happens). Also, when vids aren't available on my smartphone, but are on my desktop computer.. wtf is that about?

This will probably work, it is a straight up mp3 of the same song he posted from youtube:

Oh man DB :( It's almost as if you are following in my footsteps (pun semi intended). Kinda what went through my head, "the timing couldn't have been more perfect" (in the sarcastic sense, just having made it through the woods recently, with sub withdrawals), when I injured myself AGAIN, more recently. I hope the foot injury isn't as bad as mine was, last winter, as in, being in a cast to my knee for 4.5 months, than an ortho boot another month. It was a particularly nasty injury tho, the ortho foot specialist said many of his colleagues would have elected for surgery and put a bunch of titanium in my foot, but he was going to try to spare me the long term consequences of that, which could possibly lead to chronic pain and other issues. So glad he did! It worked out and my foot seems back to normal, without any lingering pain or movement issues. Hopefully your foot injury isn't nearly as bad.

Oh, and one thing you want to be aware of. Long term use of NSAIDs (Ibuprofen/Advil, Naproxen/Aleve, etc) after a bone break, can slow bone growth, so docs who are aware of that will recommend only using them for the first week or two, to get the inflammation (and accompanying pain) down.

It was a total freak accident. I had been sitting on edge of computer chair for awhile, while waiting for friend to stop by. I was sitting in a very bad position, with edge of chair putting pressure where the leg meets the ass, and it pinched the sciatic nerve in both legs, and they were completely numb, not even a "pins and needles" feeling for a warning. When buzzer rang in apt to let him into the building, I jumped out of chair and moved fast, and collapsed after several steps, and foot twisted inward and I collapsed with full body weight on it, snapping some bones. I never made it to answer the door, and had to call him later to explain what happened when I was able to get back up and hobble around, and call for a cab ride to the ER.

For sure. Maybe we should hop on a bus for the 2014 Rainbow Gathering, they might have some medicated goo there :)
