Can anyone give a recomendation for a good doc in Jackson TN? I have heard Dr. McKenzie was good but she is not practicing here anymore. The other names I found were Warren, Moragne and Winston....any help?

Hi Holly,

I'm sorry that I didn't see your post sooner, I have not been back on the site since you posted until this week. I had no luck finding another doctor. Warren is the only one I have found in Jackson that is still doing/accepting patients in TN. I started my treatment yesterday. As far as Dr. Warren goes...I felt like he was going to be really tough when I met him. But I think I am so ready to be off of this stupid opiate that I need someone that is going to hold me accountable to keep on the right track. Initially I wanted someone more lenient but if I'm going to do this I think I need someone like him. How are you doing? Did he cut you off completely? Did you find another doc? Let me know, I'm interested to see how you did. He started me with 8mg once daily...I'm going to post more about my history with opiates on the induction thread if you are interested, I don't want to double post the same info.

Hope your well. :)
