Hello to all my freinds here and if you are new welcome & hello.

I have to say this. I am so proud of myself!!!!! My daughter had oral surgery and as I suspected, she was prescribed oxycodone. Well, to get to the point, she only needed 4 and sitting right in front of me is a vial with 16 oxycodone tablets and they have been there for a week & I have had no temptation or desire to take any. Yeyyy for me and that's all I have to say.

Good luck to all. Don't give up & don't give in. I did it. Yipeeee…

Love, Queenie

Way to go, Queenie!! That's pretty amazing to have the oxy in front of you and not want it!! If I was able to sing by computer I would sing you the "I'm proud of you!" song. :)

That's really good Queenie! You do know that even if you took 5 of them you wouldn't have felt a high. That's what keeps me from being tempted from touching my wifes Vic stash. Why waste a pill for nothing in return?

Of course you could have just stopped the Sub and planned out a slip. Many addicts have done it, including me. Not with Sub, but with Antabuse. Had to stop four days ahead of time to get drunk. It wasn't worth it of course.

Be proud of yourself. You know how our minds work and how we twist it all around to justify slipping. You Rock!

Thanks everyone. Let's all keep up the good work. It's for our own good. Good to hear from you and I will keep in touch. My blessings to all.

Love, Queenie
