I randomly came across the packaging of the new 4mg/1mg and 12mg/3mg suboxone strips and was wondering if anyone knew what the status was on them or any info at all. I couldn’t find much and am very curious.

Below is the link where I saw them and to find them they're at the very bottom of the long page. Like you all know, the color of the wrap for the 8mg is blue and the 2mg is green but for the 4mg it is purple and the 12mg it is orange. I'll also post the links just to the new design.

I remembered seeing something about this before on this forum. The only thread I could find on it was from back in August:

Other than that I haven't seen any information of the new dosages.

Does this mean there won't be as much naloxone in these strips as the old ones? I'm not excited for being switched to he strips when the patent runs out but if this means less of that nasty naloxone then cool!

Looks like the same ratio of naloxone to buprenorphine if the numbers are correct. The more the merrier but I think it would be more important to have strengths lower than 2mg for tapering as opposed to higher. Just my two cents..
