I'm just kind of curious, and was thinking about this a little bit lately. I'm not even sure that there's a way to tell. But I wonder if anyone knows about how much, by a measurement such as milligrams, of buprenorphine is actually absorbed sublinguilly compared to the actual amount of bupe that is contained in the amount of Suboxone that is placed in the mouth. Wow, I hope that made sense! I was thinking that it's probable that even though I put three-fourths of an 8 mg Sub under my tongue (6 mg's), I probably am only getting 3 or 4 mg's a day, or even much less. I'd be interested to hear what other people think about this.

I'm just as curious, unfortunatly I don't have the answer only more questions. I understand that it is hard to come off and there needs to be a smaller dose pill. What kind of effect or absorption would a half of a half of a half of a half be. lol like 1/16 of a 8mg pill. would the 1/2 mg work/be worth it? basically I'm asking if that would help someone ween off?
