I have been on pain meds for back issues and have been out of work. I need to go back to work, but my job is not one that I can be on any medications that may impair my judgment. So for the past five days I have been on Suboxone. The first two at 6 mg, then 3 days at 4mg, I can not go back to work with any opiates within my system or they will reevaluate my status, even Suboxone.

They will do an extensive UA and am sure that is all that they will perform, as opposed to a blood or hair analysis. How long will it take after stopping, at either 2 mg or 1 mg, will my UA be absolutely clean? I am reading all sorts of answers, on many web sites, which is making it all very confusing and this is just too important.

Bup (suboxone) generally doesn't show up on *most* dipstick type tests. As far as "impaired judgment", I am fine one suboxone. It's going to vary person to person, but I finally feel more normal now than I did when I was using.

Will quitting suboxone result in you going back to using other drugs???
