I took 4 mg of suboxone, then 4 hours later I took a 30 mg oxycodone..is it safe to take suboxone again a few hours later while there is still sub in my system? or should I wait like 24 hours, will I go into prec. w/d if I take it again right away?

blanketmann, I'm gonna spare you the lecture since you probably already know that messing around like you are is not good for you or for your chances at recovery.

Whether you go into precipitated withdrawal has to do with how much short-acting opiates you have floating around in your system and how high your tolerance is, so with the information you've provided it's really hard to say if you will go into precipitated withdrawals.

You should probably wait until that 30mg oc wears off before you take any more sub. And then you should call your doctor and fess up because if you're still messing around your Sub dose might not be high enough to supress your cravings.

Just wait till your getting a little sick.....I'm sure you know the feeling, Anxious, weak, yawning, eyes tearing....16 to 24 hours should do it.

Now if you've been on a run for two weeks, that's a different story.....You need to be "Moderatley" sick, at least 36 hours.....when the restless leg starts, thats about the right time.....and you still might feel some precipitated withdrawal, but it shouldn't last too long.

Flip floping is not recomended!

Guess how I know?
