i am currently on 32mg subs daily.

i know that when you take sub films and are prescribed more than two you have to wait until the first two to dissolve and then dose again and not let the film touch one another. how about tablets? can you dose four at a time or do you have to wait until the first two to dissolve like the film? i have found contradictory answers to both online. each morning i currently let two dissolve and then dose again immediately. can i save time by putting all four at a time? thx!

I've never taken more than 1 1/2 tablets at a time, but I don't see why you can't but more than that in your mouth. I always break my tablets up into at least 1/4's before putting them under my tongue. They seem to dissolve faster that way. If you break up all four tablets, they might be able to fit in your mouth. The only problem you might have with that much in there is if they end up floating around your mouth you might end up losing some down your throat or something. But give it a try.

If you don't mind my asking, why are you on such a high dose? Are you taking it for pain? Even if you are, that's still a pretty high dose. Although it doesn't hurt anything to be that much over the ceiling (~4 mg), it's usually a good idea to drop down to the lowest dose possible that will address both your cravings and your w/d once stabilized on it. Plus you'll have less side effects and if you pay cash for your meds you'll save a lot of money. Just my two cents.

I hope this helps with taking your tabs all at once. :)
