Got my script for 40 pills and went to the pharmacy at the hospital. got them filled and went to the car. Opened the bottle and about half of them were broke in two. most not even clean broken halves. went back inside and told the same lady that filled them I did not want these pieces of subs. She said we would never put half pills in no ones bottle. After a few choice words which I made sure everyone waiting on their scripts heard, Had to make do with what I had.

Really? Thats nuts. One time when on oxycodone over a year ago I got my script for 180 filled, and the bottle said '179' on it. Sure enough, there was 179 in there. I didn't want to raise a stink about given it was a schedule II prescription and it was only 1 pill. I just wonder what happened to the other one.

That means someone stole one or they f-ed up and gave someone one extra. Sch II is HIGHLY regulated by the DEA. As you already know... the counts have to be EXACT!
Not much you can do after you leave the counter anyways. Except, everytime you get a medication you make the "bi$%" stand there and watch you count every single one before you sign for it. (You can do that!!)
