Well glad to be here! I always thought when i quit subs coming on here would make me want them again but not at all lol. I quit about 19 days ago jumped off 12mg which was my normal dose for many years and id hold it in my mouth for at least 2.5 hours just incase. It was a ritual that I came to love unfortunately even more than my many full agonist opiates. Any ways i finally got time off and even though i didnt want to quit i did jumping off at 12mg . I did it for other people in my life and by day 8 i was glad i quit and pushed forward. I wanted to post thos because people post so much crap about how hard it is and believe me it is but I think if your dedicated and really make a sure decision itll be way better than you expect especially for those that taper. What made the difference for me is hydroxyzine chlonidine only at bedtime and extreme excersize no matter how hard and crappy you feel. I forced myself to run/walk 5 miles puking, sweating, in so much pain and cold with a 200lb suit of armor feeling. At day 9 felt 60 percent good enough to work 8 hours but still tough and here at day 19 can totally sleep on my own and have great energy enough to go theme parking for 9 hours and still have plenty of energy. Anyways i feel amazing and healthy if anyone wants to know more i will respond when i can.

Congratulations on doing what some would say is almost insanity. But you did it and now the harder part comes. Staying off all opiates completely for the long term. Please keep posting your progress, positive and or negative. Others will want to know how it was done.

Keep it straight and stay on the road to recovery. A big pat on the back is in order! (just don't celebrate it)

Thank you both! I am at 21 days? I feel 100 % besides yawning a lot or maybe thats normal. I got 9 hpurs of sleep uninterrupted. Im stoked. Glad i had people pressure me and finally experienced being off all meds at once! I always planned on lifelong suboxone. I was a cop believe it or not during most of my addiction and always got in trouble for never messing with drug offenders. I quit after a week clean and am happy to start a new career,
