I am literally at the end of my rope. I quit suboxone cold turkey at 8mg 2 weeks ago. The withdrawals are horrid and I have to take care of a 2month old, 3 year old, and 5 year old. I still have 3, 8mg pills left. I am considering taking about .5mg just to take the edge off, as I am literally unable to function. Would that be going a step backward? What should I do? Someone please offer some adivce or hope. I am reading stories of people going through this for 2 months!!!
By the way, I was only on suboxone for 1 month, at 8mg.
Thanks

Hi PUELLAPEA,
Welcome to the froum.
First let me say you should probably move this post to the topic " Stopping Suboxone" it can be found on the index page.
As far as your situation with Suboxone goes I hope you are under a Dr. care? I would call him/her and the advice you need. I can tell you from what I have read (I am not a Dr. or Expert ) going from 8mgs. to Zero is to much for anyone to handle. Nevermind that you are trying to take care of young children during this time! I would use the medication you have left in a way that it will last the longest. This will give you time to get to a Dr. and get the care you need.
I wish you the best in your effort to get off of Suboxone But, I would highly recomend that you do it the way the doctor tells you to...
Good Luck & God Bless!
