I wasnt sure where to post this or search cuz im new here. I saw doc ystrday and he wrote script for subutex so I could get generic. I know ppl at cvs pretty well and they looked upn computer for me and they are showing the subutex is a little more expensive. I told thm no its the generic and its way cheaper thn the $6 and something ive been paying per pill. What else do I say or how do i help thm find the generic? I'm broke! As I'm sure most of you are who dont have insurance and taking sub

hey funny I've heard that CVS's prices on generic Subutex are insanely high if I were you I'd check Walgreens, the local Walmart, Target, Meijer etc most other places it sells for about 2.50 a pill which is alot cheaper than Suboxone. Call around and I'm fairly certain you kind find it cheaper and if they don't have it on hand most pharmacies can have it in stock within a day (they'll order it for you if you ask). I'm so happy to hear about people without insurance getting to eat a little bit better after switching to generic Sub (Suboxone name brand is insanely expensive). I've talked to several people who are now able to eat something other than Ramen noodles because they're able to purchase generic.

CVS quoted me something like $440 for 60 generics. Walgreens quoted me $149.99. There you go!

But we live in a small town and dont have a walgreens. Only cvs. I thought i read somewhere on this post that said cvs has it. The pharmacist said he would order whatever I needed and he was very nice but said they dont have a generic brand out yet. I thought about calling a cvs in one of the states mentioned in the other post that said cvs had it and see if that pharmacist would call mine here where i live. Just really stressed cuz so broke from buying subs! I'm sure everyone here understands that!!
