Hi, I just posted in "Stopping Suboxone" and probably could have introduced myself first. I have been reading this forum for about 9 months? Anyway, I am in the process of tapering sub. for the last 16 weeks. For me it was a decision to start tapering once I got stable on the induction dose. I love this forum and it has helped me to make better decisions for my own journey. I have a hard time writing, getting my thoughts together, I just try to talk from the heart. i did post some stuff about me under "stopping sub'. I hope to hear from people from this site. Thanks

HI justdoit

welcome :D
Im glad you've found some useful information here, thats what we TRY to give. LOL
I know there's some drama flying around from time to time, but as a 'whole' there are alot of supportive & good
people here that want to help each other.
Im sure you'll be able to find some support with your taper. that really isnt 'my department' yet, but none the less, the
people are here!!!

I just wanted to tell you welcome and wish you the very best of luck with your taper, and your recovery.
dont be afraid to start a thread for your taper story/journal........whatever you feel like doing.
it might be a bumpy ride, (hopefully not) but being able to post/share your feelings and recieve support back
will probably help you loads.

Thanks for your introduction, hope to 'see' ya around!!!!!!

It's good to have you here! I, too, was a lurker before I started posting. I felt like I had to get some knowledge and experience under my belt before I posted stuff. Mostly because I wanted to be in a position to be helpful to others. I am tapering too. Same thing...I did 5 months with a steady dose of 16 mg, then decided I could taper from there. I'm down to 5 mg so far.

Keep us posted on how you're doing! Together we can do this!

Amy
