Hello all. Just a quick introduction. I've been reading posts here for a long while and finally decided to register and start posting here. I got real tired of the anti-sub message boards and their overall negative/mean attitudes between people. I liked it here and that's why I picked this one to join.

All I'll say for now about myself is that I've been on suboxone for a few years now after a very, very long addiction history. I'm pleased with suboxone and don't have any plans to stop it. I don't really know when I will. I've relapsed so many times and suboxone has saved my life. I do better on it than I ever have and probably would be dead without it. I'm safer on it than I would be if I stopped it. I'm scared I would just relapse again (and again). Thank you all for sharing in your posts-I feel like I know some of you already. I've learned alot just by reading here. i'm happy to be here. I plan to post and stay around.

Thanks, hatmaker510 for the welcome. I've read lots of your contributions here and you're one of the people I feel like I already know. I do plan on sticking around.

Hey Chris,

I have a pretty long addiction history too....26 years straight!! Most every drug known to man has been in and out of my body.

I'm glad to hear that you are so stable on Suboxone and that you're pleased with it. It does a hell of a job of knocking the snot out of cravings and letting you get out of that crazy cycle of active addiction. I too believe Suboxone saved me, there's no telling where I would be today if I were still trying to chase down pain meds.

One last time, thanks again for being so cool earlier.
