Hello Everyone, I been on subs for almost 4 months now, no relapses. I went in to see my Regular Dr yesterday for the 1rst time since being clean. I told him about an injury to my shoulder I have been nursing. He wrote me script for Lortabs. I went so far as getting it filled. Havent taken one yet. I am scared now that somehow, my subdoc is going to know about the script thru some sort od monitoring system. Am I being paranoid? I went to a different pharm, but I have since learned that the one I went to has been bought out by my regular pharm that dispences the subs. I am scared. Is my fear legit or am I just being overly paranoid?

well I don't know what state you live in,
but there VERY WELL could be a monitoring system for narcotics/controlled Rx's

and the thing about the pharmacy being "bought out" by your regular one,
it'd probably depend on how "far along" that is,,,,
meaning on the 'switch over'
do they have all their computers and all that switched over, that kind of thing....

Honestly,,,
If you have been ON suboxone, depending on how much your dose is daily,,, it'd be a good week
for MOST people to even get A DROP of releif/euphoria/anything from lortab.....

I'm just being upfront with ya, about it.

so, why not just tell on yourself to your doctor, if you haven't taken any yet???
that'd be the safest thing to do,,,
take the Script with you into the office, or something, even CALL and tell them what you did,
what happened and you know, basically what you said here.

suboxone treatment IS for drug addicts ya know,
and we are HARD WIRED to make mistakes it seems like......

whatever you decide.... GOOD LUCK
and you know, if you ARE HONEST about it, I don't know why it would be a problem......

but every doctor IS different

I live in Arkansas and My sub doc is in another state. I live right on the state line. I have decided not to take any of the Lortabs, I had my moment of weakness, thru it now.....as far as bringing the script with me, well it's alittle too late for that as I flushed it down the toliet.
