Thank you Bboy,

May you have a wonderful, pain free, peaceful holiday.

Well, Christmas is approaching and we will all be busy with family & friends so I'm glad my friend BBoy started this thread so we can express what we feel & want for our fellow forum friends.

May you all find peace at Christmas and happiness in the New Year. Stay strong.

Love you all, Queenie

Oh my god I’m so sorry to hear this I grew up with dogs my whole life so I know what you are going through but for it to come on XMAS just sucks and is not fair. I hope you guys at least had many years together but when all is said and done you will always have those memories of your time with your pup. You got me crying over hear may god help you get through this.

Thats ok. I guess I sort of blew the mood of the thread! Sorry about that.

It just goes in a long line of christmas disappointments for me though. Believe it or not, putting my dog down isn't my worst christmas memory.

Now you want to know what is.. Well, in 1985 my mother took 60 xanax on christmas eve and slit her wrists. She was sort of in a stupor and I called my father as he was an anesthesiologist. He said "Oh its no big deal she will be fine", so I told him "go fuck yourself" and hung up on him. I called the paramedics again, probably the 15th time that year, and we were on a first name basis by that time. So they scooped her up and took her to the hospital and I spent christmas alone.

jamez70, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog!! Even when it's obviously the right thing to do, it's never easy.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone. I'm so thankful for you guys. This forum is like my online home.
