I just wanted to send an update to you all since you have been so supportive of, not just me, but everyone. I started my sub treatment just a out a month ago and my dose was 2mg strip at night. This was good for 1week and I noticed that it didn't last a full day and I started having cravings. So I tried taking 1mg in the am and 1mg at night. I tried this for a week with the same results. My dr told me to try 2mg am and 2 mg pm.
So after 2 weeks I am stable and have no cravings whatsoever.
I do however get a little sleepy when I take them. At work I am ok because I'm busy but when I take my pm dose in 30 minutes. I am snoozing.
The only real side effect is these little muscle jolts I get. I actually kind of like them because it's my little reminder that I am getting clean :)

Thanks everyone :)
Fred

Thanks for the update! I'm glad you found a dose that works better for you. Two mg is a pretty low dose and below the ceiling so frankly, I'm not surprised you're doing better on 4 mg. Keep up the good work and continued good luck in your remission! :)

Good for you! Glad to hear that you are doing so well. I have a question. I too get those "muscle jolts"... what the heck is that all about. It's usually at night when i try to fal asleep. They dont wake me up, they dont hurt, but they are intense!!! hahahaha, just curious if anyone knows what they are.

We've discussed those before here. Some people have them and some don't. Personally, I have never experienced them. For some people they subside. Some are bothered by them, others, not so much. It's a weird side effect, that's for sure.
