Have been a site lurker for a few months and finally took the plunge....

I am about 18 hours into my first-and hopefully last- suboxone program and about about 40 hours from my last opiates. I can say that it is going "ok" at the moment. While I don't feel "just like normal", I sure feel tons better than just a cold turkey session (and I have been in a few of those).

I have been doing about 80mg a day of roxies, vics, OP 80"s, for the last few years and decided it was time to get off the merry go round.

Hi Alanswan - welcome to the forum. I'm glad you decided to post!

So you did your induction recently, right? How are you doing now? I felt fantastic right after my induction, but I know that it sometimes takes a few days to get the dose right and get stabilized.

Let us know how things progress for you. There are some wonderful people here and I hope you find the support that you need.

I also wanted to welcome you to the forum. I know you'll find some great, supportive people here and lots of good information, too. Let us know how you're doing. You're very new to sub, so give yourself some time to stabilize.
