New member johnboy had trouble posting his experience with having surgery while on suboxone so I'm posting this for him:

hello again hatmaker i had sugery 4 months ago at first i was scared to death to days befor surgery this is what my doc told me to do three days befor sergery cut from 12 mgrs first day to 8 second day to 4 therd day to 2mgrs then i think i stopped the subs and waited another day and a haff then went in for surgery at 10 am and was so scared i thoht maby i stil have some subs in me an the surgens said were going to do the surgery know so thay shot me up with morphine and i felt so fine and relaxt then i woke up feeling great went home and started back on the subs in two months with no withdrawls hope this helps you.
