As you all know I have been fighting to taper from 16 To 12 of the subs. Me & another person on this forum are going to start to taper together and encourage each other. I went to my doctor today to test my blood. I am on blood thinners. He is also my Sub doctor now. I told him I had the most trouble at night. I look for the extra dose. He recommended I take 8 mgs in the morning 4 in the afternoon and Ambien at bedtime. Perfect! because the subs make me sleepy for a while. Maybe that's why I took the other 8 at night. Pray that it works out. this way I will be at 12 a day instead of 16, which is my goal for now. I feel so happy about this. love & hope, Queenie

I just wanted to let you know that I am happy for you, and that I hope that you do well with your taper!

I think that you will find that there isn't much of a difference between 16mg and 12mg. Most people don't notice much of a difference while they taper until they get down below 4mg, so I think that if you just go for it, you'll be absolutely fine, and you'll probably start feeling better, in general, after you taper a bit. I wish you the best!
