I'm feeling really nauseas and foggy. Is this normal? Or is my dose maybe a bit too high? I've been on subs a week and I'm at 16 mgs.

Hey there!

That is not normal for me, but others have had those symptoms. The first thing they start doing is spit out the saliva you hold in your mouth for the 15 minutes (don't swallow any). For most that seems to help.

Others, lowered their dose - and spit - and that helped. Expect any dose changes to take like 36 hours.

Keep us posted! I think setmefree started spitting out her saliva after each dose, and lowered it some and got better.

I think I'll try both. I hate feeling sick to my stomache and if I wanted to feel foggy I would have just kept on popping pills. It is unfortunate there isn't away to make yourself feel better.

I've had the same type of symptoms ever since I started suboxone. I started at 24mg/day. I'm now on 6mg/day. I feel much better. The fog is not nearly as thick, and my upset stomach is 10X's better. I wish you the best. I only tried spitting once, I find that too hard/nasty to do. I'd rather just swallow as the spit accumulates. Best of luck.
