Hi everyone my story is a long one so i wont tell it all but i will tell you I have had many addictions in the past and have been able to beat them all. Then i tried pain meds it started out fun i would eat a couple vicodins and it seemed like i would have so much energy and feel so great. But after a while two turned to 4 and 4 turned to 8. So then I started taking stronger stuff percocets then oxycontin, then opana and finally ended up on heroin for a short time never shooting it just snorting. By the time I realized I had a problem it was to late to quit it seemed like because if I went one day without I just lay on the couch all day sicker than hell. I had heard of methadone but I always used it to get high never understood how this could help you get clean. Then about 4 or 5 Months ago I heard about suboxone I tried for three and a half months to get in a clinic without no luck because they all wanted an outragous ammount of money to get started. Finally I found a pain clinic thattook my insurance and also prescribed Suboxone. I have now been on suboxone for three weeks and it doesnt seem to get me high like the methadone did but it did take away the withdrawl that I was having. Finally I am starting to feel like a regular person again I actually get up and play with my kids. I will say that this drug is a miracle drug. But still I have cravings to get high not sure how to get over this any suggestions anybody has I'd be glad to hear from you.
