Hello...I am glad to see this group!

I'm shocked I'm actually posting, but this feels good. I'm 34 from Rhode Island. I started with drugs in my early 20's..mostly pot/cocaine/drinking. Then in my late 20's I found that I could get "high" and get it from my Doctor. I started with vics/perc's for any little ache or pain I had. I did a little Dr. shopping and found a Dr that turned me onto Fiornial #3 for my "migraines". Well with this started the beginning of the end. I had a primary Doctor and then Walk-In-Clinics I could use for in between. Well doing a little Internet searching I found I could get on-line what the Doctor in-state would not give me. This addiction went from 60/month to 120 pills a week. My bills were piling up but my addiction came first.l had to pay cash for my opiates. This was were the lying, deceit and darkness started. I would have so many black-outs that I was missing days at a time. I didn't know how to stop. I would be bed-ridden with withdrawals for 3 days or till I got my next fix. Needless to say leaving me un-employable. I needed help because I was no longer getting that high I chased for so long. I would think god forbid I was in the ER and they had to help me, how much drugs would it take to work for me? Even I didn't know how much anymore...I no longer got relief from opiates.

I started to taper down my use and did much searching for a answer. I looked into detox centers and rehabs. Finally I read about Suboxone. I was down to the wire, the last week. I had to decide if I wanted to get help or get high. I picked help.

I started suboxone 2 weeks ago and have found that light at the end of the tunnel. I have such a clear head and am focused again.

This is amazing and I recommend this type of treatment for anyone thinking of it!
