With all of the tapering threads around here,
I just thought that I would start my own "non-tapering" thread.
(If this is not in the correct forum, I will understand if it gets moved.)

I am currently prescribed- and am taking- 4 mg of Suboxone per day.
I was previously on 2 mg for about three weeks, but had some significant cravings.
So, I contacted my sub doctor, and he got me in within 2 days,
did a urinalysis, and prescribed me the 4 mg per day that I am currently on.
(I see my sub doctor again in about a month.)
I plan to stay on Suboxone as long as I can.

Anyway, I did see my therapist today, and she thinks that I am doing very well;
and- instead of scheduling me in two weeks, she scheduled me to see her again
in three weeks. (It is mandatory that I am in counseling, in order to get my subs
paid for by my insurance.) But, even if counseling was not mandatory, I do believe
that I would still want to engage in some type of counseling- outside of 12-step

I go to about two AA/NA meetings per week; and sometimes participate in service
work. (This is not mandatory.

Thanks for letting me share.
