Why does my doc have me come back every 28 days? I've been his patient for well over a year and every appointment is 28 days from the next. It's a little inconvenient but obviously I've managed I am just wondering if anyone here has any insight on this ... does your doctor give you refills or does he make you come back every month?

I was in the sub program for almost 6 years, never relapsed, tested positive for any drugs other than subs, never missed an appointment and still had to go every 28 days. Not sure why some places allow people to go months before being seen again and get multiple months refills. The program I was in was very strict, you HAD to do a drug test every month and if you couldn't fill a pee cup while there, you had to wait around until you could before you got your script.

I was on Suboxone for 3 years and my appointments were every 28 days as well. Never failed a UA or anything like that.
