Woke up this morning feeling tired due to only four hours sleep. It took me awhile to wake up but made it to work on time and wide awake. Wtf I feel great. Is this the end of the physical wd. Is this the end of the mind fucking. I sure hope so. I feel great today and I will take it. Lots of water, walking, vitamins I'm doing it. New life for me started eight days ago . I encourage anyone that is ready to take the jump , be head strong and you can do it.

That's great news, man!!!

Have you given any thought to your longer term recovery and what you're gonna do to stay off drugs?

As of now I take it one day at a time. I have move to a different state and job to remove myself from the addiction. I no longer have access to pain meds or anything else. So I guess that's part of my long term recovery. Also started seeing a counselor. You have really helped me a lot with the words of encouragement. I know there may come a time when I crave the buzz but i kicking its ass now so later down the road it should not be a problem.

Sounds pretty good.

Don't rely on moving though.

You can't move away from yourself... Which is the problem.

And I bet if you wanted to high bad enough you'd figure out where some drugs were.

That's what has sank a few friends of mine.

Thinking that moving away will fix addiction problems.

Good luck though.

Nothing to do with STAYING clean is easy. Not in the least!
