The sleepiness will pass once you find that right dose and your body adjusts. I was started on 16 mgs at first but found 8 was truly all I needed to feel well and focused. I stayed at 8 for over a year and then started tapering down. I got stuck at 2 mgs and found it very difficult nott to over take my meds the minute I felt achy or flu like and I got myself into deep shit running out early every month. No fun! I feared withdrawals so bad and put myself into them every month for aawhile. Crazy right? I finally said fuck it, and just stopped. Sucked for a few weeks with fatigue and lack of motivation but it passed and am fine now. No cravings, no thoughts of using, no desire to go back.

I fully understand that whole "roommate" feeling with your husband. Was like that with my ex. All intimacy stopped 2 years into our addiction. Opiates also have a way of kinda killing your sex drive too. It is what it is I guess! One of the benefits of quitting in getting that back =)

Well I am 15 minutes away from clocking into work for the night. Have a great night and when cravings hit, post!!!!! it helps!

If you're bored one night, stop on over to the stopping suboxone forum and read the threads. Awesome group of people there. My thread is called DOING IT and the most active threads are ButterFlying's "flying towards freedom" and Johnny_ikons thread called "just jumped". Fantastic people. Also there is no_boop, mojitoman, romeo and a few others who have lots of great advice and wisdom.

Have a great evening and weekend. I am working all day tomorrow so enjoy some sunshine for me!
