Hello to everyone.First i just want to say i think its a miracle that i found this forum, because there is alot of inspirational stuff on here and i just happened to end up on it.I just wondered about the time of ur first dose of sub.Is it an individual basis or what.I get about 12 hrs in and my withdrawal gets really bad.Sorry but i dont have a doc right now but i have gotten some suboxone and was just wondering about the time between last opiate and first dose.I started this process a couple of hours ago and have to do it now.I was wanting to ask before i get to bad off.Thx to all

hello time,

you need to be in "mild to moderate" withdrawal. its not about a time limit but 12 hours may be ok. only you know what your symptoms normally are.

do you mind saying what and how much you were using?

also when you do take the sub, start out with a small-ish piece. 1 or 2mg is good. this is to test the waters. let it dissolve under your tongue and wait about 40 min to an hour. if you are feeling a little better it should be ok to take more. try another 2mg or whatever and wait again. repeat till you are feeling 'normal'. thats what i would do.

and btw you should go to a doctor etc etc :p

and welcome to the forum!

good luck,

-glen b

thats a pretty healthy habit so be careful, precipitated w/d is apparently the worst thing ever. start off slow like i said. this is IMO of course, I am no doctor or expert.
