My opinion would be to continue seeing her while calling around and looking for a better doctor who is more reasonable. The not accepting of insurance unfortunately is very common but making you come in every week after being there for a year with clean drug tests is unacceptable and taking complete advantage like you mentioned in your thread title. My doc prescribes generic subutex to save me money, allows me to come in every 2 months (I have money issues so I even stretch that and don't call in to schedule my appt. until its been like 2 months and a week and then they can't usually get me in for another couple weeks so it ends up being every 3 months and he never scolds me or gets mad about it) and only charges 90$ an appt. You can do way better and deserve to be treated reasonably, I know its scary to leave a doc when your dependent on something like sub but if you plan to stay on it indefinitely I think you will be miserable with this person. They are obviously only in it for the money. Have you ever confronted her on the fact that you are confused as to why you haven't been moved to at least every month after this long? I think I had my induction appt. then was told to come back in 2-3 days and after that he said "now I'll only be seeing you once a month" so its definitely wrong what she's doing.
